      Shipping Insurance

      If you are having an issue with a package for which you purchased Shipping Insurance, please Contact Us with your order number and we will be happy to open a claim for you!

      WHAT IS SHIPPING INSURANCE?

      Shipping Insurance protects your package from carrier (USPS, FedEx) damage or loss. 

      The cost is only $3 to insure an order up to $300.

      Shipping insurance can only be purchased at the time you place your order. It is selected by default in the Shopping Cart as you go to check out.

      HOW DOES SHIPPING INSURANCE WORK?

      If your order should get lost, be delivered with missing contents, or be damaged during shipping, you will receive a refund or replacement for the damaged or missing items.

      Simply contact us to open a shipping claim. All shipping claims are reviewed within 3-5 business days, and refunds are made directly back to the payment method with which the order was placed.

      We understand that when shipping problems occur, they are very frustrating. Lowbrow Customs aims to make the entire process as fast and painless as possible!

      Shipping insurance is suggested regardless of shipping method. This includes the Free Economy Shipping, as shipping insurance is not included.

      If you don't purchase shipping insurance, Lowbrow Customs is not liable for packages damaged or lost in transit.

      HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING INSURANCE COST?

      It is only $3 to insure an order of $1 - $300. It is then $1 per additional $100 value, up to a $1000 value. For orders $1000.01 and up, the insurance cost goes up $5 for each $500 of order value.

      WHAT IS COVERED BY SHIPPING INSURANCE?

      Lowbrow Customs strives to do our best work on every order. However, once your order leaves our building it is in the hands of the shipping carrier (FedEx or USPS). Once a shipment leaves our facility, it is the property of the customer. With this being said, we will do our best to assist you if there is an issue with an order.

      The optional shipping insurance protects your order should it be lost in transit or damaged by the shipping carrier.

      WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

      Shipping Insurance does not cover shipping delays. Only if the package is declared lost by the shipping carrier can we provide a refund. This is usually the case if the package has not seen movement in 15 days but may vary shipment to shipment.

      Theft is not covered by shipping insurance. Once tracking shows delivered it would be up to the customer to file any type of claim directly to FedEx, USPS and/or your local law enforcement.

      All orders will be shipped to the address provided during checkout and will not be able to be changed after order is placed. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. Packages returned to us can be reshipped at the expense of the purchaser.
